I was afraid my years on the fitness competition circuit had ruined my metabolism. Even though I knew a competition body wasn’t sustainable, how did I let this happen?

I managed to gain over 30 pounds that I just couldn’t kick. I felt as though I was hanging on by a thread and even considered liposuction out of desperation.

My body and my metabolism weren’t responding to my usual strategies; I’d even go so far as to say it was fighting back. I knew I needed to make BIG changes in both method and mindset. Fitness isn’t just about supplements and strength training.

This realization led me to work with one of the most reputable functional health companies, where I learned about the impact of gut and hormone balance on one’s overall health.
